EXHIBITIONS

At Haboean, weaving isn’t limited to the loom. Our exhibitions offer ways of sharing stories through material, memory, and place.

We host rotating exhibitions throughout the year, featuring our in-house weaving alongside works by invited and resident artists, collaborators, and community makers.

Patterns

(July 12-August 31, 2025) The exhibition Patterns brings together works selected through Haboean’s first open call, which invited artists to reflect on how patterns take shape in their practice through process, structure, repetition, or daily experience. The exhibition includes a wide range of responses across painting, textile, sculpture, drawing, and mixed media. Some works draw from natural systems and ecological rhythms, while others use symmetry or formal structure to explore logic and control. Patterns also surface through recurring marks, gestures, or materials that hold memory, emotion, and shared history, gathered through time and layered across surface and form.
